New Chiro, Welcome Kim
Stratford Chiropractic is delighted to announce we have a new Chiropractor joining the practice on 15 October, Dr Kim Bianca Castelo Branco. Dr Kim brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to family-focused chiropractic care, which aligns with our values and purpose. Her addition to the practice expands our capacity and ability to support our community with caring chiropractic care.
Dr Kim was born and educated in South Africa, graduating with a Masters Degree in Chiropractic (CUM LAUDE) from the University of Johannesburg. She spent eight years there practicing in a family and sport-based clinic, caring for patients of all ages. During this time, she also provided chiropractic care for underprivileged communities near Johannesburg, who had limited access to healthcare.
Dr Kim is a registered chiropractor in Australia, Canada and South Africa, having completed national board exams in each country. She has been living and working in Canada for the past two years and is excited to move to Cairns to be closer to extended family, who have also moved to Australia. She is joined on the move with her husband and 3 year old daughter.
Dr Kim shares Dr Karen’s holistic approach to chiropractic care, with a gentle, hands-on style that includes both manual and instrument-assisted techniques.
Dr Kim’s Areas Of Expertise
- Family care: from infants and children to seniors.
- Pregnancy care: including certification in the Webster technique to help optimise pelvic alignment.
- Paediatric care: with ongoing studies toward the SOT Paediatric Certificate Program.
- Sports chiropractic: holding the International Certificate in Sport Chiropractic (ICSC) and certification as a FAKTR Rehab Provider, offering targeted treatments for injury recovery and performance.
Dr Kim is passionate about helping people of all ages unlock their body’s ability to heal, improve function and adapt to life’s challenges. Her care is guided by respect for each individual’s health goals, be that pain relief, improved posture or long-term wellness.

- Monday: 8am – 12pm | 2pm – 6pm
- Wednesday: 8am – 12pm | 2pm – 6pm
- Thursday: 2pm – 6pm
- Friday: 8am – 12pm | 2pm – 6pm
- Saturday: 8.30am – 12.30pm Alternating with Dr Karen.
